[SOLVED] Any ideas on how to view webinars [Was worth 50 Kudos points!]
« on: September 19, 2010, 09:14:36 PM »
See Answer

On my old Macs, I used to be able to watch webinars without a problem. Recently upgraded equipment and cannot watch them in either Firefox or Safari - (I am now running Mac OS 10.6.4 with Safari 5.0.2 with the latest Flash version). When I click on a link, an html page gets downloaded. When I open the page, it comes up and says

"The Camtasia Studio video content presented here requires JavaScript to be enabled and the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player. If you are you using a browser with JavaScript disabled please enable it now. Otherwise, please update your version of the free Flash Player by downloading here."

I can watch other Camtasia items on the site, like all of the ones listed here: file:///Users/wade/Downloads/fmsvideos/start.htm, but cannot watch the webinar videos. I have downloaded the ones that have that available, but there are one or two that have the info I think I need that I can see.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Wade

I am having the exact same problem.  I contacted support and their reply was, "Nothing should have been changed and things should be working with all browsers."  I would love to know if anyone else is having this problem and has found a solution.

Please check out the webinars now. We apologize for the issues as of late with the webinar pages (and some other FMWebschool pages) - there was a problem with a PHP server migration that introduced a few bugs. Everything should be back online now. Enjoy! Smiley
