It runs just fine, no multi tasking until the next update (1-2 weeks) though.

I am seeing VERY slow server sync with my iPhone 3GS and iOS 4. Syncing is taking about 3x longer than under 3.1.3 with the same server and same databases, same DDRs. Only change is the iOS version.

I guess I’ll try replacing the DDRs with the same ones that are there now. I’ve often seen reloading the DDRs fix sync and performance issues that I presume to result from DDRs corruption.

Any other ideas on restoring syncing speed to iPhone OS 3.1.3 speeds?

Update: While trying to sync this crashed my router. So looks likes the old Airplane mode > WiFi on workaround is still needed when there is a change in software be it change in FMTouch version or iOS version.

Using this workaround restored 3.1.3 sync speeds. I also reloaded the DDRs at the time.

Definitely a bug in iOS 4.0 - nothing changed in how FMTouch connects and it just tries its best to use the iPhone network system to make a connection. I bet we will have quite a few reports of wifi issues with this Apple update... Unfortunately there just isn't much that we can do since FMTouch cannot control how the wifi works.
