In the blog sample fiile
When using " Table based authentication-building a protected page" Chapter 19:  When a user logs in with user name and password how can I have them directed to a web page with their record info in fm.  Now when a user logs in they automatically got to  a we bpage with the first fm record info. I am using sessions as in the example.

Does anyone have a suggestion?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what variables are being set at the login page, but I'd make one of them be their unique user id, make sure it is in a session variable, and use that as the basis for a search on your protected page...

Got it-I think.  Thanks very much.  I like the book a lot. Easy to understand and example download files are a big help.

I am trying to get a page similar to the commentator login page in chapter 19 to go to the users record(commentator page) showing the users name.  I am using "Table based authentication-building a protected page" Chapter 19.  I cannot figure out  when a user logs in they are directed to a web page with their record fields showing. Similar to commentator page showing a link to profile-instead showing username.

any help would be appreciated-been trying to do this for a while as i am not very knowledgble in php

It looks like the referenced link, "commenterProfile.php" does not exist in the book's sample files. Therefore you have to develop your own file  with the appropriate variables to find it.
If anyone has a file completed for this, please post.
Tks.
