I am starting the web development phase of my project with FMStudio v2. I see a book offered for sale @ http://www.fmwebschool.com/fmstudiobook.php and I see what appears to be the same thing @ http://fmwebschool.com/reference/FMStudio_Complete_Guide are these the same thing? If not, what are the differences? Are either of these relevant  for v2 of fmstudio pro? I don't mind buying the book if it is going to help me with my journey, but if I can get the same thing for free....

Thank you
Bob

Hey Bob,

They are the same book which was meant for the original FMStudio. A lot of what's in there is still relevant to FMStudio Pro but I should caution you on a couple of points. First, I think the book centers on an older version of Dreamweaver (8 I think) so the graphics are not only a little dated but it can be confusing for a new user. Second, the foundation of FMStudio and FMStudio Pro is the pretty much the same so it would be useful for getting set-up and connected but it doesn't cover the new hotness of FMStudio Pro.

Before working with FMWebschool I borrowed a copy and found it useful enough to eventually purchase a copy for myself.

Thank you David for your input. I did go ahead and purchase the download version of the book and it is quite helpful.

Great! Let me know if you have any questions about the differences between FMStudio and FMStudio Pro.

Hi David,

I just added a suggestion for the new book/wiki (implementing reCaptcha); could you post a timeline for the new book ? I bought the first one via Lulu 2 years ago and several modules as well.
Any outlook towards the new book will keep us all happy!

Hi Reinier,

I'm a small and far less important part of the picture but I will certainly see if I can get a timeline for the when more tutorials should be released. I do know that there are some additional resources around the corner but I would expect the bulk of everything to come after the holidays.
