I can't connect to any of my sites anymore.  When i open them in DW their are no layouts.  If i try to make a new site, and a new connection i get the followning error.  I've attached a screenshot.  Anyone know what the issue can be here.  My sites still work online, and i can still edit my records within FM and they are shown properly on the web.  I just cant connect in DW.

Please Help.  I am Stuck

Craig

Sounds like you might have some firewall issues. One thing you can try to make sure the connection works is to use a server test page like this one:

Otherwise double check your settings in the Testing Server portion of the site.

Yes, it seems something is wrong with my testing server.  The settings in DW are correct, as those havent changed, when i ran the serverTest.php and pulled it up in my browser, all i got was code, i could post if you want.  I know when i originally installed this, i was able to see the page.  I have recently installed snow leopard.  Thats the only change i can think of.  Could this have anything to do with it.  Thanks  for your help.

seems to me that maybe PHP is not turned on? Or maybe you opened the serverTest.php incorrectly if it is showing code.  When I upgraded to Snow Leopard that happened to me once.  Went back to get PHP turned on and all is working.  i think I settled for FMS installing PHP for me as opposed to me installing my own version and all started working again.

Thanks BandMan.  Can you elaborate a little.  FMS is currently installed on a PC.  My Mac, which i just upgraded to snow, is my testing server.  Do i need to install PHP on the Snow machine, or turn it on somehow.

Bandman, I got it working, Thanks for your help, you were right.  After a little research i realized that Snow Leopard has PHP turned off at default..

Here is a link that helped me solve the issue, should anyone encounter the same problem...
