Filemaker Pro 7 and FX.php

I've been able to use FX.php to access Filemaker 6 ( client ) successfully.  ( Mac - OS 10.4 ).   

I tried to move to Filemaker 7 ( client ) with the FX.php but I ran into problems. The documentation
for FX seems to say you can use FX.php to access Filemaker 7 client but I've come across some messages here
saying it has to be Filemaker 7 Server.

Hi John,

FileMaker 7 and above absolutely requires Server to work with FX.php. To be more specific these are the requirements:
- FileMaker Server 7 Advanced
- FileMaker Server 8 Advanced
- FileMaker Server 9
- FileMaker Server 10

Notice that unless you have FileMaker Server 9 or 10, the more expensive Advanced version is required.
