How come (after asking you several times via mail) that I'm still not on the list to get a notify when there is a update?
How come I can't find the link to a update on your website?
How come this topic isn't in the update section of the webschool forum???

I'm sorry to say but you are really bad organized in your communication to your users.
You guys run a database application and try to sell the bridge this to your users. Maybe it's about time that you get things structured and start the website from scratch so you can create a propper overview. Looking at it now it's very messy. I guess I'm not the only one who thinks so.

you use the same link as you did to get the last upgrade or when you purchased it.  Do you save those emails with the links?  I was able to download the update the day it was released.

why is fmstudio the only application that is so hard to get an update for?
And whay is there no reply from the office? I asked a bunch of questions.

Unfortunately, bandmandq, the comments from mechanicus are simply true. 

Although the "free updates" policy is quite generous I find that I do not receive notice of updates availability either.  And I have been a customer for several years.

Not even a mention of the FMStudio update in the FMWebschool Newsletter....

I am fortunate in that I have retained the original emails from my time of purchase and have a printed copy as well.  These are important components of any development protocol.

However, it would be much easier if the update notice had been provided at time of release to each of us that has purchased the FMStudio modules and if a download link to the update had been included here in the forum as well.

To "mechanicus" (and others)...  another Filemaker Development shop offers a free download of a "Developer Storage Database".   It is a nice little environment in which a Developer or Designer can keep notes, passwords, graphics, etc neatly organized.  Download that FMPRO application here

Some here may cry "foul" that I have recommended andother provider, but the entire purpose of the forum should be to HELP others that have asked for assistance.  The forum is an excellent environ for more experienced Users to assist others and does help FMWebschool to keep their Support costs under control.

Hidden deep in the bowels of the forum there is a message many many months ago from Michael Petrov in which the update links schema was explained to another User.  The original link that was included at your time of purchase simply won't do you any good unless you edit the link in your browser with the expected "new" version or update version.  In this case I have edited the original link supplied at time of my purchase.

with "_1_9_0.zip" for the current update version 1.9.0

FMStudio update for PHP and Dreamweaver 8 and CS3

You will still need the original password included at the time of your purchase.

Download the zipped update file to a location on your local machine.  Unzip the downloaded update file.  Open the Folder that includes your unzipped files and double-click the .mxp installer.  The FMStudio extension will be installed on your system.  You can double check a successful installation by opening your local copy of Dreamweaver, then HELP, then Manage Extensions.  You should find that FMStudio 1.9.0 has been installed.
