i know its a little late but for the next update it would be nice if DC was configured or had version to sell services not just products, i realize its all customizable but for a person not such as my self not real familiar with filemaker it would make it much more user friendly.

Thank you for your suggestion.  Please if you would, write up some bullet points as to what you think would be helpful as far as selling services.  A nice concise list of features that you feel would be helpful selling services.  We are always listening and ready to implement new features!

Thank you once again!

Well Steve
I sent a pretty detail list of things via email that I'm going to need to effectively implement DC but on a more general bases the first would be the ability for customers to click a calender icon to select the date of service and even though not applicable to what I'm doing now I would think even a step further and being able to select the time for service would be beneficial. I say this as I worked for a limo company in Vegas who used filemaker database and had to have a custom shopping cart built and even then where required to manually enter in the reservation verses simply synicing there shopping cart with the database so they could have used DC configured for services but would need both date and time. Another feature that would be beneficial as an extention of the date/time choice would being able to set added costs dependent on that date/time selection. Given the example of the Vegas limo company booking a limo on Friday night at 12am when all the night clubs are opening up is considerably more expensive than 8am on a sunday mooring. The cost dependent on date is something I'm actually working on now at Mike's suggestion of using shipping cost to accomplish this which i should get back to...lol

I had asked about a "Quantity Discount" prior to version 1.5 in a previous post and was told that it would be part of the 1.5 update.  Being fairly new to Dolphin Cart, I don't believe it occurred in 1.5 and as I am now (finally) working on updating to 1.6, I haven't found it in 1.6 either.

If it is there already, please advise as to where I can find it.  If not, it would be a great feature for the next update.

Thanks.

Randy

P.S.  It would be wonderful if there were a way to have updates occur less often or else know what particular files changed (if there are only a few) as it takes me about 8 hours to redo my Dolphin Cart each time I undertake an update. Dolphin Cart is an add on shopping cart to my present website.  Virtually all my changes are in the Templates file, yet it is still a very tedious process to update without creating errors.
